For 17 of our 29 years, we have run the amazing Camp Gottalikachallenge, one of the first summer creativity camps in the United States.
Space is limited, so if you're planning to kick-start your fall with amazing people, stuffing a whole year of creative problem solving in a single August week . . . THIS IS THE PLACE!
You do not need experience in Destination ImagiNation, nor need to be from New Hampshire to register!

There were over 2,000 students on teams around the state. Now, the top 35 teams representing the best-scoring teams in each Challenge and age group competed among the 1,031 teams from around the US and the World at Destination ImagiNation Global Finals!
Londonderry High School's "DI Dudes" have been together for 11 years, making it to Global Finals nine of the 11. Now seniors in high school, the team finished 2nd in the secondary level DIrect Deposit challenge. (below).
Below, alumni from the Wilton-Lyndeborough area joined by WLC high school team members (making them a university level team) captured second place in the DI eXtreme Challenge. In DI eXtreme, team members learn the challenge(s) AT Global Finals and must put an eXtreme effort to win... like our New Hampshire representative did!
Team New Hampshire competed well with teams across the United States and around the world.

Friday, May 7, Global Finals-bound teams met at Nashua High School North in our annual tradition Spoil Your Dinner event. It is here where the teams learned from board members, alumni, experienced team members and each other about what they can expect at this amazing international event. Of more importance,they became Team New Hampshire - representing not only their communities, but the Granite State at Global Finals!

From over 2000 students in near 150 schools and community groups, the 33 teams that will represent New Hampshire at Destination ImagiNation Global Finals in Knoxville, TN from May 26-29 have been selected.
Each has gone through several levels of competition.

The over 2,000 students from around New Hampshire have started their Regional Creativity Competition Tournaments. The solutions use technology, architecture, robotics, literature, science, math and the arts, and are strictly student-solved. Team members from New Hampshire Destination ImagiNation represented schools and community groups from all corners of the state.
Around the world, over 100,000 team members are supported by 35,000 volunteers in over 30 countries doing the same challenges!

The Destination ImagiNation Creativity Tassel!
Now available, the 2010 DI Creativity Tassel is a tangible reminder of the thousands of hours dedicated to DI, creative problem solving and the pursuit of excellence! Last year they sold out so order now!

The Regional competition originally scheduled for Bedford High School will now be at Hollis-Brookline High School.
It's been a great year with A LOT of teams, and we thank both - and all of our host schools for this year!

Over 400 NH-DI team members took part in our annual Instant Combustion and Improv Workshop on Saturday, December 9th at the University of New Hampshire.
Organized and run by NH-DI alumni, sessions included improv and acting to the properties of newspapers (hats, rope!?) to learning how to help your team better do Instant Challenges. Team Managers got to chat with the State Challenge Masters to ask questions about their specific Challenge.
New this year was a Rising Stars! section for teams pre-K to 2nd grade.
Special thanks to the NH-DI alumni and the University of New Hampshire staff -especially the great people in the MUB who helped make it a great day for all!

New Hampshire Destination ImagiNation alum, community and board members helped to train over 250 team managers at Southern New Hampshire University's hospitality center on Saturday (11/21/09).
Trained in the property of materials (including newspaper), Rules of the Road, Instant Challenge and how to facilitate your team to work together to select and resolve their Challenge. In DI, team members and only team members must solve their Challenges, helping them develop skills in problem solving, teamwork, creativity and innovation.
