NH Destination ImagiNation Online

Login Help

The login page is streamlined for those returning to the site that already have a user id and password. These folks just enter these 2 pieces of information and they gain access to the site.

The remaining cases take a bit longer. Our goal is to connect you to information we already have due to your prior experience with NH-DI (such as being an appraiser or team manager). This website knows about most appraisers dating back to 1995. So if you have appraised or judged in the last decade, there is a good chance that you are in the system even though you may not have used this website before. Your name, address, phone number or email address may have changed, but you can update that information. In these cases, identify yourself using the old information, then update once you gain access.

So lets look at the common cases:

Case 1: Forget Your Password or User id

Lets say you forgot your password or user id. In this case click on the link I've used the system but I forget my password near the bottom of the page. You will reach another page where you will be asked for your email address. This is the email address that NH-DI has for you. When you enter the email address, we will look in our records and list the people that have that email address. If you see your name in the list, click on the button to the left of your name.

What the system is going to do is email you a new password at the email address you entered. Now if you no longer have access to this email address, you will not be able to receive the new password. In this case you will need to send email to the webmaster so we can get a new email address that does work. The Forgot Your Password page contains a link (here) with the address of webmaster. Let the webmaster know your name, old-email address and new address so we can change our records.

If you have multiple email addresses and don't remember which one you use for this website, go to the login page and click on the link I have appraised for NH-DI in prior years... Enter some information to identify yourself and we will list the email address and user id we have on record.

Since we are going to send you email, make sure you don't have any mail filters that would block receiving email from us.

Case 2: You have appraised or been a team manager before but have not used this website

As we mentioned above, there is a very good likelihood you are already in the system. Perhaps a team manager or school coordinator provided the information in the past through a paper form. That information is in the website and we would like to connect you to it.

In this case, from the login page click on the link I have managed a team or appraised for NH-DI in prior years... Enter a bit of information about yourself. Keep in mind that if your name or other information has changed, use the information we are likely to have. You can update the information once you gain access to the site.

After you enter the information, the site will present you with the people we have on record that match that information. The page includes some hints that will help us locate you.

Based on the information, the next page will list those matching the information. If you are listed, click on the number to the left of your name. One of 2 possibilities will happen at this point:

Case 3: You are not in the system

If you have never volunteered for NH-DI before, from the login page click on the link I am new to NH-DI. On the next page you will be asked to provide information that we need if you are going to be a volunteer. Please provide the information. We will create a new account for you and email you a password to access the account.

Once you receive the password via email, log back into the site using your email address and this password. You will be asked to supply a user id. We encourage you to do this since user ids are in general easier to type and remember. Something like your initials or nickname would be good.

After you do this, click on change password in the left menu. Set you password to something much easier to remember than the generated one we provided.

That's it.
