The pins have been traded, the stories told, and the memories made. From Pinkerton's NH and the responsive "DI" which shot around the performance venues and cafeterias to the Team China banner - it was a week. The high school and middle school teams were helping the younger teams, and one day, those will be the high school students who will represent NH-DI at Globals.
All the new friends, and the amazing kids. Teams - even competing teams - would help others with supplies.
There are
too many stories to be told, so let's leave it as our kids, team managers,
officials and perhaps family members are coming back a bit wiser than
when they left. Perhaps put best to a Team New Hampshire official by a
grandmother from Arizona, "I understand this now, and I feel a lot
better about this world's future." Let's do it again next year -
