NH-DI
Destination ImagiNation

for New Hampshire, the Granite State

Destination ImagiNation is the world's largest
creative problem solving program.

Tilton Regional
Destination ImagiNation® congratulates all the students who participated in the Regional Creativity Tournaments.
We think you are all winners!

The first 5 place teams are listed in place order, the remaining teams are listed alphabetically. Teams emphasized as such are going on to the next level of competition. "G" indicates the team is advancing to the State Finals on April 5 in Dover, NH.

NH-DI does not list scores on our web site. Scores are available to team managers after a tournament. Rather than list the scores, NH-DI prefers to recognize the successes that the students achieved by developing the teamwork, innovation, personal management, and creative problem skills required to bring a challenge solution to the regional creativity tournament.

They have succeeded. As student members get older, our 22 year history we know that they will
remember that they did something cool in Destination ImagiNation!

Special Awards from this meet:

Note: Awards are edited to remove solution details.

DaVincI: Kearsarge Regional Middle School, Instant Challenge, Secondary 41191-2

The appraiser team said, "This team performed their challenge in such a manner as to inspire awe in its appraising team. They did their Instant Challenge as though they had 5 hours as opposed to 5 minutes to prepare. It was an honor to watch their performance".

Renaissance Award:

Inter-Lakes High School, DestiNations in Time, Secondary Division 37623-3

This team began with difficulties on arrival. Their engineering mechanism wasn't working. However, with team work and quickly working together, they were able to pull it together. Dispite addition challenges, this team showed outstanding teamwork and distinguished themselves as risk takers.

Newfound Area Elementary School, Plot and the Pendulum, Elementary 80477-2

The appraiser team said, "This team just had it 'down'. Their plot DIverter worked very well, and relied only on simple machines (and a large number of them.) Their stories were great, and they performed very well, clearly, and with polish."

Spirit of Discovery and ImagiNation (Spirit of D.I.)

Kearsarge Regional Middle School, Instant Challenge, Secondary 41191-2

The appraiser team said, "This team blew away its appraisers. Their fun and spirited approach and phenomenal teamwork exemplifies what the program is all about."

Bartlett Recreation Department, UpBeat Improv, Middle 41368-2

The appraiser team said, "The team worked like clockwork. They used their time so well, planning and then implementing their plan, working on their props and costumes while also working lines and then even did more than one rehearsal. Their kind sharing and selfless hair/duct tape sacrifices were accepted with laughter. Great teamwork and creative effort."

Brittany Ainsworth, DestiNations in Time, Middle 16500-1

The appraiser team said, "This award is given to a student who has demonstrated enormous courage and fortitude and painstakingly come to this competition on her own, without her teammates, as they were torn with other social commitments. This student had her parent travel 2 hours home to retrieve her teams timing device to demonstrate to the appraisers. This student researched salt water as a conductive media.

Enfield Village School, Plot and the Pendulum, Elementary 56828-2

The appraiser team said, "Despite issues with props, costumes, set pieces, and running out of time, this team never faltered. Their enthusiasm and determination was contagious, overshadowing all the difficulties they had. It was very clear that they took pride in their accomplishments. They exemplified the true Spirit of DI!! "
