Meet Dana, Zeke, Natalie, Ashley and Joanna from Pinkerton Academy!
“Creativity is a banquet while most people are starving to death. So lets feed them DI. We love creativity . . .mmmmmmm!” That says it all!
| GLOBALS UPDATE . . .
Labeled ‘jealousy’, ‘vanity’, ‘greed’, ‘lazy’, and ‘discrimination’, it was clear to see that the Improv team from Pinkerton Academy had concocted a performance based on the seven, or rather five, deadly sins in their 30 minutes to create their long term presentation. With a giant face made out of a sheet of cardboard in the center of the stage, the audience wondered what was in store.

The team started out with their giant face representing a person, really any person, at an appointment with a psychologist for its problematic obsession with bumper cars. The psychologist decided to use a new method of treatment, a relaxing visualization. Using its brain as a washer machine (and also transportation device) to cleanse it, the five ‘sins’ or undesirable qualities each represented by a character ended up together. Faced with a sudden flood of cleansing water, bubbles, and Greed’s urges for shoes, the five characters come in conflict with each other. The mind wanders, comes back together, and relaxes, while the characters decide they need to work together. Symbolically ripping up the pieces of paper noting which undesirable trait they represented, each gave one statement about what teamwork meant to them. They ended musically, further demonstrating their point by building a chord, team member by team member.
Another outstanding performance by P.A.!!!
