Pinkerton Academy, Live, It’s Radio DI! team 130-72201-1 . This team WOWed the appraisers of their Instant Challenge. We saw sustained, synthesized use of each team member and a spectacular ending!

Londonderry High School, DIzzy Derby team 130-88055. Superior Design and construction. (No further details can be shared as it comprises the team's solution).

Pinkerton Academy, IMPROVing Along team 130-39147. Beginning to end, this team demonstrated exceptional out of the box thinking. They were able to develop their story with in-depth brainstorming, their interactions were non-judgmental, which enabled them to create a performance that was humorous and unique. Even DaVinci would have been impressed with the emotional elevator ride that this team took to reach out to their DI audience.

The Renaissance Award For outstanding Design, Engineering, Execution, Performance

Hampstead Academy, More to the Story! team 130-25667-1 . The Hampstead team was highly organized, and presented great acting skills. Their story line was easy to follow. It was really funny and still easy to understand. The props were creative, functional, and the team handled all of them. The sign was a wheelbarrow that carried everything and also had the primary colors and school name. And the humor was over the TOP.

Personal Renaissance Award to Sam Quirk of DIsigning Bridges team 130-79117-1. It’s not often that an appraisal team is stopped in their tracks and their jaws drop—but it happened today during a DIsigning Bridges performance. The unexpected power of an 11-year-old voice even brought an appraiser to tears.

Pinkerton Academy Team 1, Live It's Radio DI! team 130-72201-1 . This award goes out to recognize a team for their outstanding demonstration of a polished performance. The skit was interspersed with humorous gags with impeccable timing throughout. All this went on without missing a beat despite a technical element mishap.

Londonderry Middle School, Sudden SerenDIpity team 130-93398-1. The craftsmanship of all visual elements of this challenge created an overall stage picture that supported the theme of the solution. (No further details can be shared as it comprises the team's solution).

Londonderry Middle School, DIzzy Derby team 130-93398-3. This team impressed the appraisers by the well-crafted manner in which they performed all elements of the challenge. Their reliable vehicle not only scored many laps, but was also very effective in earning detour points.(No further details can be shared as it comprises the team's solution).

Spirit of Discovery and Imagination Award (Spirit of DI Award):
For outstanding Spirit, Teamwork, Volunteerism, Sportsmanship

Jeanne Beland, North Hampton School. Over in the seacoast, there is a school that for many years has generated team after team of dedicated problem solvers. Some teams have gone to regionals, some have gone on to the state meets, and some have even gone all the way to Global Finals. But the spirit and drive behind all these teams has been their fearless and intrepid school coordinator. This year, after so many years of dedication and effort, she is retiring from her school position. She needs to know she will be sorely missed. I would like to present on behalf of NH-DI this Spirit of Discovery and Imagination award to Jeanne Beland from North Hampton School.
