It is the last show of the season for the Supreme Spud which is a reality based TV show hosted by Donald Spud.
The final 2 contestants, Ida Potato and Mr. Hash Brown have a difficult task to complete with the help of their former teammates, Sweetie, Mashed, Red and Tater. The task is to turn their team manager into a French fry because everyone knows that the french fry is the supreme spud. This is a very difficult task because in their world oil and potatoes don't mix.
The story about why this Kidz Rule is true is told by Donald Spud. "Once upon a time oil and potatoes were friends. The oil would gently brown the potato. Then two friends, a potato and a cup of oil, went to the hot potato ball and the oil asked the potato How does this container make me look? The potato replied with a phrase we remember today. It makes you look fat. The oil heated up in rage and burned the potato. To this day when potatoes get near oil, they flip uncontrollably."
During the play, the team create the illusion of breaking DI law of motion 2: an object that is sitting still will stay where it is unless acted upon by an outside force. They accomplish this with a magnet and a coil of copper wire that is hooked up to a battery. The electricity passing through the wire creates a magnetic force that repels and attracts a magnet at the base. An image of Ida potato is mounted on the coil, so she appears to flip when the cage her team made breaks when she gets near the oil in the fryalator. Mr. Hash Brown wins the contest with a lead suit designed by his team. Ida is fired and Hash Brown is Fryered! As the winner of the Supreme Spud, he becomes the official mascot of the show's sponsor, Patty Queen.
The performance was well cooked with lots of potato puns and even some juggling of potatoes.
