Windham Center School

Meet the team from Windham Center School: Lexi, Jaycie, Hannah, Ingrid and Maddie!

This newly formed team of three third graders and a pair of fourth and fifth grade sisters excels at thinking outside of the box! They've learned a lot this year from building their first rudimentary structures out of gum drops and bamboo sticks to designing and re-designing (and re-designing, and re-designing) jigs to working with different art media and researching architectural greats.

Even when the meetings end, they continue with self-designed instant challenges and their all time favorite, one-word (or two-word, or five-word) stories.

Thanks for your time and patience to our team managers Mrs. Greenberg and Mr. Chase and to all of our family, friends, and supporters.

Eiffelia will tell you the story of Gustave Eiffel and his contribution to the architectural world. She adores the man who builds bridges and goes on to build great iron structures. Will he overcome the crushing blow of being told his tower is a disgrace?

The international audience of Global Finals was eager to find out as the team kept the auidence with their remarkable performance that clearly showed their innovation, creativity, problem solving skills and teamwork that led them to Knoxville.

This team gave the audience a "Towering" performance that went to new heights. The insider was cleverly costumed as the Eiffel Tower to narrate the story of Gustave Eiffel. The performance was remarkable, very smooth, and well memorized with creative effects that included a man climbing the tower and a human bridge. Skillful foreign accents heightened the effect. This performance went above and beyond.
