"The most challenging and rewarding part of DI", according to Chris, "is learning that everyone has something valuable to offer and that true team work means finding out how to make these ideas work together". Matt was quick to add, "The most challenging part of DI is believing in our own abilities and not being afraid to take a risk".

Larry saw the importance of the process of making it work,"The most important part of DI is the lessons learned concerning team work". Jordan also the fun aspect in the process. "We have had a lot of fun coming together as a group and learning about each other as team mates and as friends".

These friends are heading off for the opportunity of a lifetime, to be among the over 8,000 participants at the world's largest creativity celebration, Destination ImagiNation Global Finals!

More from Global Finals, Knoxville, Tennessee...

The team took to the international stage with a super audience in tow!

Their solution featured two groups of people: those who worship the sun and those who worship the moon. The two groups are engaged in a fight over ownership of the mountain. It takes one missionary from the sun people to bring both groups together and learn the powerful lesson of "TOLERANCE." The performance ends with a musical finale which attempts to teach everyone the lesson of tolerance and its importance to mankind!

The performance that led the team to a Renaissance Award at the NH State Finals, also evoked complex emotions at Globals. As the State's appraisal team said back in March, "They created living scenery that transformed [us...] into a mountain forest filled with fragrant flowers. As their mountain descended beneath them they created the illusion that their characters were climbing up using an elaborate system of pulleys. Every element of their solution showed refinement, extraordinary effort and preparation. They created a story about changing perspectives and personal awakenings that dramatically converged to create a truly memorable experience for all".

This was well executed, and strongly resonated with the international audience!

Outstanding!
