Welcome the team from Hampstead Academy: Kelly, Thatcher, Michelle, Kat, Patrick, Sonja and David!

So, if Improv looks easy, imagine their Challenge which requires not only improv, story development, research, social studies, geography, teamwork, design (really fast design) and innovation - and then try and be humorous too! As one of the top teams in the state in the Challenge, this team of seventh and eight graders will be heading to Global Finals to compete with teams from all 50 states and over 17 countries!

"The most fun part of improvisational DI was making things up on the spot--like jokes, puns, or even reactions! They actually turned out pretty funny", according to Kat.

So what else was fun this year? The team said " Finding a table in the cafeteria! " and "Swedish Techno". Yes, this is a fun improv team! They are heading off to Destination ImagiNation Global Finals!
