They are heading off to Destination ImagiNation Global Finals!

 

After an outstanding Regional and State Finals in New Hampshire, this team of 8th graders leveraged Color, Shadow and Illumination (CSI) in front of a super audience at Destination ImagiNation Global Finals!

It became clear that the story and the reason they won a Renaissance for outstanding design, engineering and execution at states was no accident.

The performance brought us to Los Alamos, NM, during a period you may recognize as the Manhattan Project. General Groves and his group of scientists have been faced with a challenge. They must build an atomic bomb, as one scientist struggles to label it as good or bad.

The use of pulleys, everyday materials, truly innovative design for their "gadget" resulted in a VERY successful run for this team!
