Riddle Brook School, Bedford
#130-02508 Elem Level / CSI:DI

Welcome the team from Riddle Brook School! Lydia, Jackie, Rachel, Jessi, Jenna and Emma are heading to Global Finals to compete with teams from all 50 states and over 17 countries!

The team's Challenge, CSI:DI requires the team to blend theatre arts, construction, technical design, scientific principals of light, shadow and illumination, investigative techniques, research , design process innovation and teamwork. Now the team gets to show off their hard work at Globals!

Jessi summed up the year when asked what is the best part of Destination ImagiNation. The most fun part of DI this year...I can't honestly tell you. I get to work with my best friends in the world (my team) doing my favorite things in the world (writing scripts, acting, sometimes singing) having the most fun silly time in the world. What's more to love?"

"The most important part about DI this year was working together to do the very best we can," according to Rachel.

Jessi remember the moment of winning. "When they called our names the three left on our team jumped up and screamed louder than we ever had before (and trust me, we scream pretty loud).. We ran and to tell you the truth, I cried. My stomach did a flip and I questioned, "Is this seriously happening?" even as I ran up the aisle. I shook hands, I high fived, I received my medal, and they handed ME the trophy. I felt like I was winning an Emmy or 1 million dollars, I'll never forget it." This was a feeling the team shared after months of hard work.

Next stop: KNOXVILLE!

More from Global Finals, Knoxville Tennessee...

It was an outstanding crowd from New Hampshire, around the US and around the world watching the team from Bedford, and they rose to the challenge!

"The most challenging part ... about DI this year was picking the crazy, farfetched creative idea to make into an eight minute skit with $150. Looking back, I think we picked the right one!", said Lydia. And why not, they were outstanding!

In addition to all the scientific and other elements, the performance is like the 'wrapper' of the solution.
Their performance was a brief case about a brief case.

Someone has stolen the first ever Clue Board from the Museum of Game Board History. The case is so difficult that the police have to call in Rose and Andy, the colorful and shadowy characters to figure it out.

The execution of sharing the solution with the audience, completing the elements and driving to conclusion within the seven minutes was done flawlessly.

Rachel said"the most important part about DI this year was working together to do the very best we can."

They did very, very well, and made New Hampshire proud!
