NH STUDENTS READY TO COMPETE GLOBALLY IN CREATIVITY, STEM & THE ARTS

Some people are thinkers. Others are doers. These New Hampshire kids do both well. Now, they are getting to meet each other before competing in the World’s largest arts and STEM-based creativity competition, Destination Imagination Global Finals.

This Friday, Destination Imagination teams from around the state who have excelled at multiple levels of competition will converge on Nashua High School North for the annual “Spoil Your Dinner” tradition. This is where these teams get to bond with each other and officially become Team New Hampshire.

Teams will practice creative problem solving skills and learn from those who have been to Global Finals what they can expect when over 1,250 student  teams from 48 states and some 15 countries get together. Discussion of pin trading, logistics, performance venues, special international events will – along with some great hands-on activities will highlight the evening.

Parents and the teams volunteer Team Managers will get a separate briefing, and then all will join for lots of ice cream, thus the “Spoil Your Dinner” moniker.
